Ahmedabad city's extraordinary multi-sport academy is all set to add another sporting facility in its vibrant sporting arena. Neon Sports Academy will commence the academy for Badminton on 17th November 2019. The Neon Badminton Academy will be the second racquet sport in the sports academy.

Three indoor badminton courts will be home to budding shuttlers who plan to hone their skills in the sport at Neon. An hour of badminton burns 400 to 550 calories which is the highest in any sport. It greatly enhances a player's spontaneity, reflex skills, agility and stamina. But in order to inculcate these skills in an individual a strong coaching team is required.

Heading the mentoring department is Ankit Parikh, who has played over 25 National tournaments and carries an impressive coaching experience that spans acroas two decades. Another mentor who empowers the Neon Badminton Academy is Unnikrishna Verma. A certified coach by the Badminton World Federation (BWF), Verma has played a whopping 102 National events. Completing the mentor line-up is Anuj Gupta. He has been the recipient of the prestigious Eklavya award and has represented India in 15 International tournaments. Moreover, in 2007, he was chosen as a panel member in the coaching department by the Badminton Association of India.

Neon Sports Academy strongly emphasizes on taking its players a step ahead by showing them the doors to professional excellence in their game. The sport of Badminton in Neon's premises will also stick to Neon's principle: GET STRONGER EVERYDAY. So let the racquets whoosh, the shuttle float, sweat shine and eyes focused, come November 17, 2019 at the Neon Badminton Academy.
